Today’s stunning styled shoot pulls inspiration from all the best facets of the watercolor genre. And it really is a genre at this point, don’t you think? Watercolor is one of our fave wedding trends and, thankfully, we don’t think it’s going anywhere for a while!
Imagine an environment rich with deep jewel tones + lots of organic texture. With watercolor invites, hand-dyed indigo table linens, and super pretty, painterly florals. Throw in some geodes + crystals for added dimension and we think you have all the ingredients for an edgy + modern wedding aesthetic! And luckily for us, Katie Pritchard + Adrienne from The Bloom of Time love watercolor details too, and teamed up to create the very setting described! It’s sure to inspire so many of you big time. Let’s see it, shall we?
This ceremony arch is a major beauty! To create its untamed, overgrown feel, Adrienne opted for garden roses, peonies, antique hydrangeas, muscari, and veronica as well as a few less common textural elements like snowberry, liatris, echinops, birch branches, and silver kochia. So super pretty!
Katie hand-dyed the table runner + napkins with indigo, which gave them a stormy, cloudy feel + added a little drama to the table! They look amazing. And love the furniture + tableware provided by Archive Rentals, too!
Katie also DIY’d the rugged cement containers, which created a fun juxtaposition with Adrienne’s delicate florals. If you love them as much as we do, check back in a bit, because we are sharing her DIY on how to make them yourself!
24 Carrots Catering designed a fun menu, ideal for celebrating in the colder months, that included mini ‘dallas’ sliders and specialty signature cocktails. Yum!
And isn’t this watercolor cake, by Cake Bake Shop, the cutest?!
Thanks so much to the talented group of creatives below for inspiring us today!

Well done. Well done. The watercolor is beautiful. Oh, and can we talk about the groom’s boutonniere? Fabulous.
Beautiful! I LOVE the bride’s dress. I see Mary Me Bridal is listed as providing the dress. Any word on which designer the dress is from?
The dress is a Jim Hjelm!
