Grab a festive cocktail and find something to sport in a green hue…we’ve got a fabulous fête to share with you in honor of St. Patrick’s Day! Bringing in tones of emerald green, along with vibrant pops of blue and yellow, plus some edgy black accents, today’s dinner soirée is modern + chic, with just a touch of moodiness. Count us in!
In celebration of March 17th, Ragi and Amanda teamed up with Golden Arrow Events & Design + Bottles & Blooms for this spectacular dinner party held at Sweet Salvage Rentals! Sabrina, the lead designer at Golden Arrow Events & Design tells us: When planning our St. Patrick’s Day styled shoot, we wanted to inspire others to host more celebrations—whether it’s a wedding or a social gathering, there’s always a reason to celebrate! I envisioned this shoot to have a modern garden-fresh vibe, complemented by smoky accents. A St. Patrick’s celebration wouldn’t be complete without some delicious adult beverages…so we had a few special recipes concocted just for the occasion!
Let’s proceed to the party, shall we, folks?
The Details
A party always starts with a great invite—it definitely sets the tone for the celebration. Pirouette Paper designed the most perfect invitation suite, paper goods and signage that complemented the overall design and even incorporated the cool paneling, for added texture.
The Modern Tablescape
Would you take a look at those blooms + all that greenery! Bottles & Blooms created these lush textured floral arrangements and cascading greenery, inspired by the green that St. Patrick’s Day is known for.
The team wanted the tabletop to be very modern and have a deep contrast with all the greenery. Cherished Rentals had the perfect items to complete this vision with stunning smoky glassware and slate dinner plates.
One of our favorite things was this added pop of color! The eye-catching napkins from Hostess Haven added a fun twist to the green color palette.

The Craft Cocktails
Speaking of drinks, Bottles & Blooms provided us with the recipes for these concoctions:
Emerald & Aloe
Ingredients:
- 1.5oz Potato Vodka
- 1oz Aloe Vera Juice
- 1oz Melon Liqueur
- 1oz Fresh Lime Juice
- Garnish: Aloe Leaf
Instructions:
1) Add 1 scoop of ice to a shaker tin
2) Add Potato Vodka, Aloe Vera Juice, Melon Liqueur, and Lime Juice to the ice and shake well
3) Pour into a rocks glass
4) Garnish with fresh Aloe leaf
Stay Golden
Ingredients:
- 1.5oz Irish Whiskey
- 2oz Sweet Guinness Reduction
- .5oz Lime Juice
- Garnish: Mint Sprig
Instructions:
1) Fill shaker tin with ice
2) Add Irish Whiskey, Sweet Guinness Reduction (recipe below!), and Lime Juice to ice and shake well
3) Strain into a coup glass
4) Spoon excess Guinness foam onto cocktail
5) Garnish with a mint sprig
Specialty Ingredient: Sweet Guinness Reduction
Ingredients:
- 3 bottles Guinness Draught Beer
- 1c Light Brown Sugar
Instructions
1) In a medium-sized pot, slowly add 3 bottles of Guinness Draught Beer
2) Bring to a boil and reduce quickly to a simmer
3) Add light brown sugar + whisk until completely dissolved
4) Allow to simmer and reduce for 12-15 minutes
5) Let cool, then pour into a glass vessel
6) Add to your favorite Whiskey!
