Today’s wedding incorporates so many of our favorite things. Bold color, great florals, an amazing venue and a stylish, creative couple. Lauren + Ben worked with Jove Meyer Events + BRRCH to craft a setting that was beautifully reflective of their everyday aesthetics. They went the extra mile to personalize the environment at The Foundry LIC (in Long Island City, New York) and we love that they weren’t afraid to include lots of color + texture into their day. Just check out those vibrant bridesmaid dress hues!
They go on to say, We both care very deeply about design and aesthetics, and wanted our wedding to feel modern and non-traditional, but not follow a particular “theme”. Inspired by our love of mid-century architecture, furniture, and modern artists who work with geometric shapes, we went for a look that was both contemporary and natural with hand-designed elements and materials like brass, copper, and stone.
Thanks so much to Amber Gress for the beautiful photos + congrats to Lauren + Ben on a gorgeous day!
Lauren made such a stunning bride! We are in ♥ with her gorgeous Naeem Khan dress + Miu Miu shoes!
Such a gorgeous rose-filled bouquet by BRRCH!
We’re seriously obsessed with these bridesmaids in red! Shop their look in our guide below :)

We knew it would be an emotional ceremony and provided handkerchiefs on each seat in a custom made wrap that read, “For Happy Tears”. For the handkerchiefs, Lauren selected four black and white Ikat patterns at a fabric market while on a business trip to India.

While each and every moment felt like a dream, one of our favorite moments was during our dinner outside in the courtyard at the Foundry. We were beyond lucky to have the most perfect weather during our wedding weekend. Perfect weather, eucalyptus garlands, cafe and candle lights, and incredible food set the tone for the most heart-felt and memorable speeches from our family and friends. We laughed, we cried and couldn't have been happier in that moment.
The modern stationery by And Here We Are, paired with metallic rentals from Patina, helped create a cozy, yet stylish geometric-inspired setting for the reception.

People always tell you that the little things don’t matter, that no one will notice. I totally disagree – the little things we did to personalize the wedding all added up to a big impact. Of course we put a lot of work into every detail, but it represented our style and our passion which made it all worth it.
Be present! Everyone says the day will fly by and you won’t believe how quick it all goes. But we kept reminding ourselves to be in the moment and savor it all – and it worked.
You might think that you won’t want a video, but we recommend getting a low budget option to re-live the speeches and special moments again.

Amber and Jove- Oh my gosh, wow. Nice work guys… this is beyond.
Thanks so much for sharing this stunner of a wedding! We were so lucky to work with such an amazing + creative couple and awesome team of vendors!!!
Hi Jove! I so adore this wedding you worked on – it’s completely gorgeous. I wondered about the dresses, as they are mismatched but work so well together – did the bride let the maids have free reign and just pick a red dress or was it a more calculated choice? Would be so awesome to have some advice if you have any! Laura x
Thanks Love!
Would love to know where the table number frames and geometric decor is from!
