La Tige Floral Design introduced a fresh floral style exploding with texture and rich fall hues. Her tiered ethereal ceremony design perfectly accents the lush and intimate walled courtyard of The Fig House.
The darling couple was captured by Alexes Lauren Photography in her signature modern colorful style enjoying a glamorous evening complete with bespoke bites by in-house catering Roomforty. Let’s dive on in, shall we?

“When creating the design for this shoot, we knew we wanted rich colors, true to the fall season that would compliment the already colorful backdrop of The Fig House. We kept a modern aesthetic at the root of all of the design elements.
From the geometric invitation suite to the color and style of the groom’s suit. We wanted to be a bit nontraditional and inspire couple’s looking to plan a modern wedding.“
Make Up The Bride brought bold beauty to the bridal look complete with an alluring berry lip.

Windy City Brides finished the look with a soft updo and a radiant newlywed glow.
A Moody Outdoor Reception
This aesthetically pleasing reception space is perfect for cocktails, appetizers, and photos of course!
New + Nostalgic drew inspiration from Art Deco design to curate conversation-stirring lounges, modern seating displays, and signage.
The creative team took an elevated but approachable direction in the design and styling of every detail.
“We wanted couples seeing this shoot to be inspired by the design-focused details but still feel like it was an achievable aesthetic without being too stuffy.”
The reception was opulent with a mix of textures and tones. Borrow + Bash effortlessly mixed modern and traditional touches to create a swoon-worthy tablescape.
Roseville Designs paired contrasting shapes and colors to create contemporary paper goods.
“The Fig House is a unique, gorgeous venue year-round. We felt the teal walls and stained glass windows paired especially well with the rich color palette of burgundy, taupe, and mustard for the ultimate modern fall wedding.”
Sweet Darling Cakery was inspired by the venue’s artwork, and created her own 2-tier textured frosted modern masterpiece that we can’t take our eyes off of!
The groom’s black and burgundy suit by Friar Tux was elegant and refined. In keeping with what the creative team sees is important to couples in 2022, the groom wore a classic gold wedding band by Ring Bear which uses ethically sourced recycled metals and is a carbon-neutral brand.
