A Modern-Meets-Western Wedding in the Mountains Of Colorado

When Victoria + Charles started imagining the design details of their destination wedding in Colorado, they were immediately inspired by the splendor of the Rocky Mountains. 

“Our inspiration was to build the wedding aesthetic around the natural beauty of Colorado,” Victoria + Charles say. 

Victoria + Charles collaborated with planners from Fable Style and Design to create a rustic-meets-modern mountain view lodge wedding at TenMile Station.

When the big day came, the NYC-based couple and their families made the trip out to Breckenridge! They exchanged vows in front of an absolutely breathtaking view of the Rockies, and Victoria’s beautiful embroidered robe made for a totally unique and dreamy bridal look that we are SO into.

Christy Rilling, creative director of atelier Guild of Hands, just so happens to be a close family friend of Victoria + Charles’. Victoria had looked at a few other wedding gowns already when she visited Guild of Hands in NYC with some of the women in her family. “Once I tried on one of Christy’s dresses, I knew I found the one!” Victoria says. We love the modern silhouette of her strapless column dress!

When Palmer Flowers wasn’t busy making masterpieces out of baby’s breath alone, they were embracing the springy colors in the embroidery of Victoria’s bridal robe.

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding
Our most memorable moment was our first look; we did this in an intimate setting with just family prior to the wedding ceremony.

Victoria’s peachy bouquet is giving us elevated mountain wildflower vibes.

The Reception

The reception’s all-white linens and contemporary tableware kept things minimalistic and modern, letting the wooden elements and rustic vibes of this lodge reception venue shine through.

Loving the simplicity of these ikebana-style floral arrangements and the height that the glass hurricane pillar candle holders add to the tablescape.

SO clever of them to repurpose their baby’s breath ceremony background for their sweetheart table!

Our Advice To Those Planning Now
Even though it's stressful, it was helpful to always remind ourselves that we were doing this for our friends and family.

We love a reception dress! Victoria’s short, feathery look reminds us of the Susana Feather Dress from Revolve!
