Have you been crushing on mustard hues lately? The color yellow has been dancing upon the pages of GWS lately, and truth be told, we can’t get enough! Meaghan Brianne Photo + Fawn Events teamed up to create something to satisfy their honey-filled hearts…and it’s got us buzzin’! (Yes, so much so that can’t help ourselves to a cheesy pun or two.)
Fawn Events tells us: Inspired by the season and one of our favorite colors—YELLOW—we wanted to create a ‘sweet’ elopement centered around all things honey. Rather than playing into the typical honeybees, and beehives, we took the overall vibe a step further and dialed in to the catchy “Uh Huh Honey” lyrics from good ol’ Kanye West. The outcome? An elevated ethereal editorial with a touch of edge, of course. :)
It’s a little bit vintage, seriously cool, and brimming with those sweet honey vibes…let’s dive in to all the goodness at The Harper OC!
The Details
A little sweet + a little sassy. Who else is LOVING the color block waves on this invitation suite from Double Dipped Calligraphy?
Talk about the right way to do color. How glam do these ladies look?!

Florals + Hair Goals for Days
Hair by Kayti proved to be a magician when it comes to combining gorgeous braids + florals…I mean, would you look at this fishtail masterpiece?!
Another stunning style that we’ll definitely be Pinning for later!
A Luxe Ceremony Space
Fawn Events shares: We took a golden color palette and added hints of dusty blue, metallics, and neutrals.
Adding in honey was a natural complement and truly worked to tie everything together, don’t you think?

The Tablescape
We added honey to just about every detail…from the carefully curated cocktails to the honey-adorned cake and personal charcuteries boards on each setting, everything was beyond perfect!
Honey cocktails? Count us in!
How perfect is that mashup of yellow hues and dusty blue, with pops of orange?!
The table was transformed with pieces from Adore Folklore + Hostess Haven, along with the prettiest of linens from BBJ Linen.
From floating floral installations to those that drape…well done, Love Struck Blooms!
Can we take a seat at this table? We definitely want to sample whatever The Fancy Fromage is dishing up!
The Sweet Treats
Honeycomb galore and treats that would make bees buzz with delight! Amriel’s Cakes created this spread of confectionary goodies.
