From the disco balls decorating the mirrored tablescape to the playful tassels hanging from the bride’s bouquet, this is the ultimate cocktail reception inspiration! With a handful of confetti, and tons of brilliant pink and red hues, it’s striking and modern, yet seriously glam.
Rebekah, the event designer and planner at Brontë Bride tells us: I was originally inspired by the concept of a modern “wedding celebration,” as more millennial brides are recognizing the appeal of a cocktail reception with a fun almost party-like atmosphere. I wanted to take that party concept further by infusing bold color, modern-day décor, and special moments of celebration and joy.
If this isn’t glam enough for you…we don’t know what is! But seriously, how gorgeous is this invitation suite Bexley Design Co created? We’re loving the splashes of pink watercolor and the contrast of the black wax!
Confetti, check! Glam party décor? Check! All of these darling details were thanks to Dixie and Twine.
The Bridal Party
Ladies in FORMATION! From the florals lining the staircase to the bold hues the gals are rocking…we aren’t sure what we adore most. We just know we LOVE this look!
Dig these looks as much as us? Achieve the look with similar dresses here:
While normally we see ribbons hanging off of bouquets, these pink tassels are a nice change of pace to complement the gorgeous florals from Always Sunny Design.
Pop the champagne!! Also, who else is loving the bold red lip all the ladies are rocking? Bellamore Beauty, you did so well!
Does the groom want the classic black suit, but you’d love to add some flair? Cuff links, ties, and pocket squares are the perfect places to add some color, while still maintaining that clean and classic look!
For this groom, the team chose cufflinks that were a soft pearlized pink! They were a unique piece that coincided with the pink palette, but also didn’t overwhelm the groom’s minimalist monochromatic attire.
Cocktails + cotton candy from Fancy Pufs? Yes, pleasssse!
The Modern Tablescape
Minimalistic + modern…but with a touch of glam! Those disco ball accents and the contrast of the black goblets are so good, don’t you think?
A Cake Walk
Can’t decide if you want a naked cake, a marbled delight or cupcakes and macarons? Why not go big and delight your guests with all of them?!
Major props to Cake College for the masterpiece above!
