Today’s stunning wedding at The Fig House in Los Angeles, captured by the amazing Logan Cole, is just about as dreamy as it gets. Combining an old-world feel of the Gatsby era with stylish, modern details reflective of the two of them, Carla + David produced a setting that’s sure to inspire many of you currently planning your own wedding day. There were gorgeous protea + peony laced centerpieces (crafted by the team at Birch and Bone), safari-inspired black + white textiles and craft cocktails + gourmet eats that were surely worth remembering. And by enlisting the talents of Orange Blossom Special Events, Carla + David were able to achieve the impeccably styled, sophisticated wedding they dreamed of, all the while spending an amazing night making memories with their family + closest friends.
From the bride + groom, We pulled in elements that had personal meaning to us: A customized ceremony with friends and family participating, decor that nodded to Carla’s South African roots, moments alone to just take it all in and a desire to buck the conventional (no cake, no bridal bouquet, no garter toss.) And as we always say, we love it when couples do what feels right for them!
Carla wore a super stunning dress by Pronovias, but it gets even better, ladies! Wait ’til you see more views of it paired with her incredible, intricate art deco bolero by Hayley Paige. Insanely good!
The bridesmaids each wore black dresses by Solace London paired with amazing statement necklaces + carried a simple, single protea bouquet. Shop our current fave silver statement necklaces for your ladies below!

The vows we wrote to one another, the no slow song policy we had on the dance floor, delicious, beautifully presented food and moments with friends and family.
Seriously, can you even get over this bolero?!
Processional: Come and Get Your Love – Redbone
Recessional: For Once in My Life – Stevie Wonder
First Dance: You Are the Best Thing – Ray Lamontagne

Hang on to the most important things that matter to each of you. For David, it was a personalized ceremony and creating a fun environment for our guests. For me, it was all about the food and making sure we had time with friends and family, so doing a first look was key to get a lot of the picture taking out of the way early.
