Lynsey + Stuart live in Scotland but LOVE to travel. So, when it came time to exchange vows, what better place to do so than on a Santorini cliffside? That’s exactly what they thought! To help them coordinate their modern boho elopement, they trusted in the expertise of Maria Sila from Tie The Knot Santorini who helped them find the breathtakingly beautiful Cocoon Suites Santorini.
Here’s Lynsey sharing a bit more about their planning process: The thought of a big wedding freaked us out – we don’t like lots of fuss and wanted the day to be about us rather than having to entertain lots of guests. We LOVE visiting the Greek islands and Santorini was a perfect spot for a romantic elopement.

First Look
Stop everything. This beautiful boho dream-of-a-house, decorated with chic furniture + pendant lamps, is built into a Grecian cave! This clearly made for the coolest environment for an adorable first look.
Maria set up a breathtaking ceremony spot for L + S on their cave house terrace, overlooking the Aegean Sea. The florals, vintage lanterns + candlesticks poetically framed the couple during their handwritten vow exchange.
White rose petals rained down on these newlyweds – wow!
The bright + hot pink peony arrangements created by Red Box Days really bring the romance to this ceremony spot.

Lynsey tells us about finding THE dress: I searched almost every bridal store in Glasgow & Edinburgh for ‘the dress’ and really struggled to find something a bit different… Scotland really doesn’t do boho! I decided to take a day off work and traveled to Manchester, to Jean Jackson Couture where I met the loveliest ladies and fell in love with the Lovers Society x Green Wedding Shoes Phoenix dress.

After the ceremony, L + S’s terrace was transformed with cozy throw pillows + a ton of candles, setting (yet another) boho chic scene. Before ending this magically memorable day, the newlyweds shared cake and champagne!

Don't let others pressure you into having a big wedding if you don't want it - you can always throw a party when you get home to celebrate! And invest in a good wedding planner if you don't know the area or language.
We’re not sure if it’s the sun setting over the sea, or the romance dripping from this Santorini terrace, but we’re over the moon inspired + happy for these newlyweds. Many congrats from GWS!
