How many of you are fans of Anthropologie? We certainly are! Have you heard of their sister brand, Terrain? Essentially they’re the outdoor home + garden shop, and it just so happens that they have a new venue that opened up this past fall in Philadelphia: Terrain Gardens! (This is a different venue from the popular Styers at Terrain in Glen Mills, but if you love that venue, you will love this one as well!!)
Taking inspiration from the colors of fall, event designer Shannon Wellington envisioned a cool trendy couple and a black-tie bohemian wedding. She tells us: We wanted fall but obviously, the traditional fall color palette needed an upgrade. So, we set the scene using shades of rust, velvet mauves, mustard yellow, and of course, black.
Think the Anthropologie store is always styled to perfection? Just wait until you see this garden setting and all the foliage captured by Magdalena Kernan Photography!
To kick off the day, Stephanie B Designs crafted this modern + elegant invitation suite. How divine are those leather accents?
Welcome to the Avant Garde…garden! Who else would love to hang out at this lounge?
Out in Terrain’s cozy courtyard it was all about the velvet burnt orange couch with coordinating throw pillows, accompanied by bridesmaids in textured garments + gowns from BHLDN, styled by Trousseau Style.
How stunning are those sunset hues in the florals?
A jet-back ’57 Thunderbird Convertible from CJ’s Classic & Antique Cars was brought in for an iconic + sleek getaway ride. So glamorous, don’t you think?
The Entwined with Nature Backdrop
Wicker in all different shapes and sizes was used to frame the ceremony space. And tons and tons of florals, of course!
The bride wore a sleek satin gown from BHLDN. Talk about modern + cool, right? We’re loving the groom’s heathered jacket, too!
Can we get a round of applause for that chic updo ONLO Beauty created?
Wicker was spread throughout the ceremony space, serving as lounge seating and decor…and for this gorgeous escort card display!
The Rustic Tablescape
A huge foliage installation hung above the head table that brought in that organic, natural feel that Terrain is known for.
The natural wood table consisted of dusty velvet and rusty satin linens from Nuage Designs, wooden slabs gold-pinned with black leather table numbers and flatware in metallic coal and stark black and white marbleized china, courtesy of Party Rental + Maggpie Rentals.
Holy smokes, that CAKE!! Nutmeg Cake Design crafted this confectionary delight, inspired by Moroccan poufs and rustic bohemian florals.
How gorgeous was this modern meets bohemian styling? Way to go to this team of creatives!
