Sonia + Cody crafted the most perfect day (with the help of their coordinator, Mint Julep Productions) at the most perfect venue (Race + Religious in New Orleans, Louisiana). They blended their own personal style with some quintessential NOLA magic + the end result was a total feast for the eyes. Hence our gushing + photo-filled two part feature. Sonia tells us, Cody and I love to play games with each other, so we really wanted to make our wedding fun. We had a tarot reader, a bone thrower, and a professional mixologist. We even got our guests to find their tables creatively. I’m a mushroom hunter, so to share in that experience, our guests found their table by opening a message in the bottle. Inside a mushroom was printed on the back and they then had to find their table by finding their mushroom.
Poppy and Mint Floral Company really outdid themselves with these stunning tablescapes. The centerpiece runners – featuring garden roses, greenery, succulents + moss – totally capture the overgrown feel of the magical city of New Orleans.
