Hà Nội is the capital of Vietnam, a bustling and historic city situated on the country’s Red River Delta. And in October of 2022, it was ALSO the site of Ngọc + Đức’s dazzling wedding day!!
Đức manages a massive housing and living complex in the heart of Hà Nội called Vinhomes Ocean Park. The sprawling property includes bodies of water with beachy shoreline parks–the perfect spot if you’re interested in having the best of both worlds and throwing a beach wedding right in the middle of a major metropolitan area. When they first began planning, Ngọc presented their planners at The F Lab with a mood board more on the rustic side. Something one might typically expect from a beachfront wedding. The team, however, came back with a breathtaking and totally pink vision that Ngọc ADORED since pink is her favorite color! The beachy, blush wedding they created together was delicate, luxe, and full of Ngọc + Đức’s love story.

The day’s delicate pink invitations were designed by Diep Dang, and amazing handmade details like these transparent pressed flower vow books and signage were created by Wildflower the Framed and printed by Lin Wedding Paper.
Ngọc researched tons of brands and explored four or five different famous bridal boutiques in Vietnam before enlisting the help of one of her wedding planners. Together they narrowed it down to this breathtaking strapless A-line Galia Lahav gown. The feminine, flowy floral vibe was just the thing for this glam beach wedding.
The creative minds at The F Lab are ALSO behind the day’s flowers. We love how they brought depth and range to the palette by fully embracing every conceivable shade of pink.

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding From Ngọc: Thanks to our photographer Andrew Nguyễn (the founder of Hipster Wedding) for making our first look moment so precious. I prepared for this day for a long time. Everything was in order, so I did not think I had any butterflies. But then Andrew turned on the song “Love Me Tender” and told me: “Get closer to Đức and he’ll turn around to see you.” At that moment the soft music, the greenery in the background, and especially seeing Đức standing at the end of the yard made me emotional. It reminded me of our love story from the beginning and its many hard times. When Đức turned around I cried a lot. Yes, finally there was a happy ending for us and we deserved it.

Statement aisles are a fun and fab wedding trend having their moment right now. How stunning is this subtly winding all-white walkway lined with pink and peachy florals!!
Đức is super proud of the work he does at Vinhomes Ocean Park, so picking it as their wedding venue was a really meaningful choice for the couple.
The wedding party looks so pretty in pink!! And if the guests seem pretty well coordinated, too, that’s because there was a color-themed dress code!

Đức has the right idea! Pro tip: Grooms, carry a tissue or handkerchief for all the happy tears since you might be the only one with the pockets!!
This ceremony arbor is a thing of DREAMS!! The translucent strucure disappears into the stunning scenery, and these gorgeous floral installations (we see you, dangling carnations!!) look like they’re floating in mid-air!

Our Advice To Those Planning Now 1) Instead of getting messed up with too many ideas and not knowing which one you should prepare first, don’t research too much information or too many pictures on the internet. Find a wedding planner who understands your needs, and, more than that, they should really get you so they will make a plan that’s exactly right for you. The first step is using a budget calculator and budgeting enough to hold the wedding you want, and after that the planner will arrange the best timeline and prepare everything. They’re an expert in the wedding field so they’ll give you useful advice for your concerns.
2) A “beautiful” event is not enough. It should be a heartwarming wedding day. If you want your guests to be impacted by your wedding day, you need to tell them about your love story during the event. Each couple has their unique story, so feature yours and everyone there will smile, cry, and feel happy with you. Therefore, don’t only care about the decoration, the catering, or the wedding dress. Take time to arrange what you want to show through each part of the wedding.
3) Your guests’ experience is very important. We held our wedding to celebrate our love, but also the day was an opportunity to show gratitude to all of our guests – people who play important roles in our life. We can’t have a happy and fulfilled life without them. They support us and give us their hands when we’re in need. They witness our love as it grows day by day and help us be confident in our way.
