We’re pretty excited to be sharing the gorgeous wedding of Janna + Sean on GWS today; one reason being that Janna is the sister of Jacquelyn from Beijos Events – one of the best wedding designers around! With talent like that in the family, you know the wedding is going to be good, and let us just say J + S’ gorgeous big day definitely doesn’t disappoint!
For their venue, they chose the beautiful Annadel Estate, which is nestled in a gorgeous region of wine country in California. The location allowed for all of the lush + romantic details one could dream up – and dream up Beijos did, all while keeping in mind that Janna + Sean wanted the day to feel representative of them and all of their favorite things to enjoy with their favorite people!
While we could definitely go on + on about all the details, there’s so much to see in Megan Welker‘s stunning captures below, so without further ado, let’s check those out!
Sean looked ultra dapper in J.Crew and we have to admit, we’re crazy into that blue, patterned jacket!
Natasha Kolenko crafted lush ombre pink bouquets comprised of garden roses, peonies, seeded eucalyptus and more for Janna + her bridesmaids.
We love the dreamy, old world feel of this ceremony location option at Annadel Estate.
Processional: Bridal Party: I'll Try Anything Once – The Strokes; Bride: Sea of Love – Cat Power
Recessional: Let's Dance – David Bowie
First Dance: Dream a Little Dream – Mama Cass version

We love the lush, rustic feel of the bar vignette, which featured all kinds of cocktails + refreshments, and wine from One Hope Wines.
Beautiful signage by Meghann Miniello directed guests to their seats for dinner…
Janna tells us, Sean is a high school English teacher so we incorporated books into our escort display, and pencils as a part of the tablescape. I work in film and am a huge movie buff, so we had a projection of movie clips playing during the reception. Another fun personal touch was with the desserts: We had Portuguese sweets to represent my family’s roots, and it was very important to us to have an ice cream cart with Its It – they are not only our favorite dessert ever, but a Bay Area staple and nod to the event location and area where we both grew up. We also were really thoughtful with the songs we chose throughout the day. More than anything we wanted our wedding to be fun and relaxing for our guests, all while enjoying everything beautiful wine country has to offer!
Limit your Pinterest usage. I know it sounds crazy, but obsessing over Pinterest makes it harder to stick to the choices you've already made. I also think it's important to take a step back from time to time as you plan. I'm a film publicist, and I planned my wedding during the most grueling year of my professional life. I was forced to take several breaks from planning over the course of our 15 month engagement. In retrospect, I think that was incredibly helpful. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and as an extremely indecisive person by nature, taking breaks helped me to reflect on the decisions I was making.
