Aloha, friends! Today we’re dishing up tons of tropical vibes from one of our favorite places: Hawaii! Daphne + David’s day, planned by Aloha Bridal Connections, was replete with an abundance of DIY projects, including laser cut magnets of Hawaiian names for each guest, a mini surfboard made by the groom, all of the signage, and more.
Here’s Daphne with the inside scoop: David and I traveled to Hawaii many times together throughout our almost 10-year relationship. For my 30th birthday, we had a trip planned, and it turned out to be quite a memorable one… David popped the question at the Makapuu lookout the day before my birthday! For the wedding we invited our immediate family and close friends to fly out from NYC to Hawaii to celebrate with us.
Let’s take a peek at the tropical dream Emily Turner Photography captured at Loulu Palm Farm Estate!
Hello, GORGEOUS! That gown above is the ‘Wyatt’ from our very own Lovers Society x Green Wedding Shoes collaboration!
The Wedding Party
Those darling getting ready robes are from Le Rose.
Oh my goodness, look at those bouquets from Ocean Dreamer!! All the proteas, birds of paradise, and palm fronds—so gorgeous.
The Ceremony Space
D+D wanted a casual day, but with tons of chic, tropical vibes. Daphne tells us: We wanted to combine the old and the new and mix up with gold accents and A LOT of tropical leaves and flowers from the island.
1. Walking down the aisle with my parents to David and the feeling of realizing the day is here!
2. Thank you speeches and speeches from Best Man, Maid of Honor, and Sister are the most touching of moments.
3. Dance floor and shots at bar.
The Newlyweds
Curious about this location? The Loulu Palm Farm Estate is a beautiful estate in the countryside of North Shore on Oahu. The farmhouse has a plantation-style, giving it that old Hawaiian charm and there are long stretches of greenery…plus a stunning view of the ocean (especially at sunset!).
That golden light…all the palm fronds, and these two!!
Talk about DREAMY!
Can’t get over our LSxGWS gown + all those florals. Such a good pair, don’t you think?
Loungin’ by the Palms
How darling is this lounge framed by palms?!
We wanted our guests to really feel the Hawaiian island vibe, so we pulled in two fire dancers as entertainment and an ALOHA sign as a backdrop for pictures. We also threw in the surfer vibe from the North Shore with a VW photo bus van which all the guests LOVED!
Pineapple was a must—so they had small pineapple shot glasses as wedding favors!
Are you eyeing those cute tropical menu cards? They’re from PaperMinx Printables!

To add a touch of Hawaii + souvenir, they personalized magnetic wooden laser cut Hawaiian names for each guest. Isn’t that such a fun idea?
Do your research and budget well. There is no time to be indecisive. Wedding planning tears and fights with your groom are normal and you guys will laugh at it after it’s over. Don’t hold back and go with your gut! A Day of Coordinator is a MUST and worth every penny!
The day was topped off with sweet treats from Upcountry Creations.
Congratulations to the two of you! Want to be swept up in more of the island vibes? Take a look at this clip from Sophia Roud Media:

This is an extraordinary wedding idea. I like how creative it was made. The images were wonderful too. I’m not sure if those were natural light or edited. Thanks for sharing.
