Adriane White Photography + Wild Abandon Design headed out to the desert of California — Joshua Tree to be exact — to bring us this love in the desert editorial.
Reflecting the Joshua Tree terrain with a textured tablescape of faux fur, an oxen skull, and dark accents, we’re just a little wild over this styling. To amp up the voltage, the bride *shocked* in a golden shimmering gown, and danced the night away in one wicked purple tulle skirt. Ready to wander? Let’s go!
All about that yucca! Joshua Tree is known for its magnificent + peculiar plants: Mariposa Lily, Desert Indian Paintbrush, Beavertail Cactus, and of course, Yucca Brevifolia, commonly known as the Joshua Tree. Inspired by its intriguing shape + the colors of the desert, AE Letterpress crafted this gorgeous invitation suite.
The way those boulders frame them oh so perfectly…
Playing up the gorgeous light of the desert + the soft pink and golden hues, Flowers By Carra crafted this sweet boutonnière + one STUNNING wild bouquet.
For the first look, the team took the tones of the mountains + the wild brush and complemented them with the bride’s French Knot Couture tulle gown in a moody purple hue.

And talk about a stylin’ groom!! He’s sporting rock star pieces from Tomboy Santa Cruz.
SWOON! The way the wind picked up the tulle and wrapped the two of them in a sweet embrace…
When it came to the tablescape, it was all about complementing the neutral tones of the desert, with striking accents + textures.
Edgy, boho, cool, moody, modern… Yup, all of the above!!
And here comes a bolt of electricity! The bride changed into one shimmering beauty of a gown from BHLDN and it seriously stole the show.
As for the bride’s wicked cool boots? They’re also from Tomboy Santa Cruz.
Chasing Jewelry added a final refined + luxe touch to the overall look.
