We don’t share a lot of bridal shower inspiration here on GWS, but when we do get a submission for a fun, new take on the bridal shower, we just can’t wait to share it with you lovelies! The bridal shower epitomizes all things feminine, sweet and dare I even say sassy? That was the inspiration behind this Little Black Dress inspired bridal shower dreamt up by Hey Gorgeous Events with photos by Amy Carroll Photography. Searching for chic, fabulous + fresh bridal shower ideas, this team threw out all rustic + vintage notions to the wind. And in lieu of the traditional Sunday morning, English tea party themed get together, they spiced things up a bit. :)
Bright and fresh florals accented with lemons and succulents, a flirty LBD dress code and a pick your own hairpiece “Babe Bar” puts a fresh new spin on celebrating the lucky bride to be. The best part is that the majority of the details they infused into this celebration are easy to recreate like the paper chain link backdrop, the hairpiece bar (which double as a take home favor for your guests) and the totally rad idea of asking your best friends to be your bridesmaids by stuffing a sweet little note and tons of brightly colored confetti into a helium filled balloon. So super chic + fun!
Such a cute way to ask your gals to be in your wedding – pop the ballons and this cute note remains! :)
