Designer Malvina created this gorgeous lavender inspired shoot at a French Country estate – well, it’s actually at Lakewinds Country Manor in Ontario Canada, but it feels like France! She imagined a wedding where guests would stroll through the wooded grounds (champagne flute in hand) to a bountiful display of local cheese and meats. After that they would then come upon a gorgeous dessert display. And can we talk about the vine adorned swing the bride is relaxing on?! So dreamy…
Here’s what Malvina had to say, “The intoxicating smell of the lavender, the wooden pergola dripping with wisteria, gorgeous birdcages overflowing with flowers and the antique silver candelabras create a setting where the guests know they will not want for anything. This shoot is about natural beauty, enjoying the summer, awesome local food and ultimately Canadian chicks dreaming of Provence….”

I have never been to France, but after looking at these stunning photos, a trip to France just got the #1 spot on my “bucket list”.
The food looks superlicious! I wonder if it would be a sin to open a bottle of wine and have some bread and cheese in the middle of the afternoon (all by myself). What piece of music would be playing?
A job superbly executed by the whole team!! I envy your talent, your eye for the most minute detail and the investment of, what I would imagine, countless hours to achieve such perfectionism.

I have the greatest admiration for all of the artists that participated in this shoot.
From the photos, one can tell that each member takes their craft seriously.
Looking at these pictures, I feel like I can almost smell the lilac. This wedding atmosphere looks so springtime and…..fresh. Everything is so pale except for the purples, and there’s not too much green to overpower it like most purple themed weddings. It gives this ethereal, morning feel to it. Very springtime in the English countryside. And I love the flowers climbing up the old swing…that has to be my favorite part.
