After years of dating, Lauren’s boyfriend, Chris, popped the question. And she said yes! As a wedding planner herself, Lauren had always dreamed of how to make her wedding unique and special. Planning a wedding for others doesn’t always prepare you for planning your own! The two decided their perfect venue would be The Neon Museum in Las Vegas.
We have always loved Las Vegas and went there for our first trip together! We visited the Neon Museum for the first time in December 2019 and fell in love with the nostalgia, Las Vegas history, and immersive experience.
Now that the venue was chosen, it’s time to take care of the other details! Lauren and Chris trusted photographer Alicia of Alicia Lucia Photography to capture their big day. Let’s get into this epic Vegas wedding!
What Happens in Vegas

It’s all in the details. Lauren and Chris opted for simple cream and blush wedding invitations complete with custom vow books and the cutest earrings.

Lauren’s bouquet by A Beautiful Theme was adorned with meaningful charms and photos.

Lauren wore the prettiest dress by Jenny Yoo! It was perfectly accessorized with a jeweled headband and pearl cape.
I scoured local wedding dress shops and the internet to find one that I felt was unique, and also classic. I ultimately decided on the Octavia dress from Jenny Yoo because it checked all the boxes and also had pockets! They made it really easy to carry around my heart-shaped glasses and vow book after the ceremony. I added the bridal cape attachments about a month before the wedding because I wanted a little something extra, and they really completed the look!

The celebration started at the Paris Hotel on the Las Vegas strip. Not only did it give the couple time to take beautiful photos together (wait till you see the ones in the Cadillac!) but it also gave their guests some extra time to explore Sin City.

Since we had a destination wedding, we wanted our guests to have time to explore Vegas and also wanted a lot of time for photos for ourselves, so we worked with our photographer to plan for dedicated photo time for just us between the ceremony and reception. It worked out perfectly!

Don’t forget to have fun on your wedding day! Lauren sported these super cute pink heart sunglasses to help let loose. It’s a good thing her dress has pockets! Looking for fun sunglasses for your wedding day? We rounded up our favorite bridal sunglasses!

The More the Merrier

The 45-guest ceremony took place at the Boneyard of the Neon Museum. It’s clear that each sign has a story, and now Chris and Lauren get to be part of that history!

Processional: Moon River
Recessional: Married Life (from "Up")
First Dance: No first dance!

Husband and wife, at last!

As a wedding planner, I'd been told for years that the day flies by, but I truly didn't understand until my own wedding. It truly does, so my suggestion is to just enjoy every little moment! Also, don't be afraid to make it authentic to who you are as a couple.

Sin City

The happy couple was thrilled to finally be married! After the ceremony, they were whisked away to Carmine’s at Caesar’s Palace for an unforgettable meal with their closest friends and family.

Lauren was all smiles after finally marrying the love of her life!

Riding around in the vintage Cadillac was definitely the coolest part of the day! We had so many people cheering for us as we drove past and it was just a blast and felt like a true classic Vegas wedding experience.

This epic Cadillac was the cherry on top of their fantastic wedding sundae! We LOVE how Chris and Lauren look like they were painted right into the mural.

Congratulations to Lauren and Chris on your wedding day! The team here at GWS wishes you a wonderful life together!
