When Tasha + Toby began planning their stylish + carefree West Sussex barn wedding, they decided two things were their biggest priorities: for the day to be as relaxed as possible + for their guests to be treated with the best food + drinks they could imagine. Thanks to a stunning setting, a relaxed timeline + a delicious BBQ feast, their intentions were easily achieved. When it came to the handmade decor + design, Tasha tells us, We wanted to make a lot of decorations ourselves for the wedding from the outset, Pinterest was definitely a huge inspiration in this – I’m not sure how people plan a wedding without it these days. The idea was to create things that were slightly industrial, delicate, floral, and fun – all of this mixed together seemed to shape our day and was just very ‘us’!
We think they totally achieved what they set out to do! Big, big thanks to The Lou’s for the gorgeous images + congrats to Tasha + Toby on such a lovely day!
Tasha wore a stunning BHLDN wedding dress, with a crown + bouquet crafted by My Bouquet Day. Her gorgeous bridesmaids wore dresses from Forever 21, New Look + Dorothy Perkins – with fun, faux crowns from H&M!
Views as far as the eye can see! Love these portraits captured by The Lou’s!

There are so many moments from our wedding that were incredibly special! We found that our time spent having our photos taken gave us a chance to just take a moment to be together. Taking the time to soak in everything that was going on around us was amazing and well-needed! Naturally the speeches from our Dad’s and the trio of Best Men were something we’ll never forget - they were tear-jerking, belly-laughing moments for sure!

Toby would say: "If you're going to make things for the wedding make them early!” These are wise words we needed at the start of our wedding planning (oops!) Most things for our wedding were hand-made, Pinterest inspired goodness, however this took a LOT of time - definitely do not feel silly making your decorations a year in advance. Think of all the relaxing you can do closer to the wedding when it’s all finished! Apart from that, try to take everything in your stride and enjoy every family and friend bonding moment leading up to the big day.
