Colorful florals, terrazzo floors, a stunning villa venue, and smoke bombs- what more do you need for an epic Lake Como wedding?! Seriously, this couple has style and they treated their guests to the warmth and hospitality that Italy is known for. If you’ve ever wondered how to use your venue to inspire your wedding decor, follow Michael and Marisa’s lead. Along with event designers Benevent Planner, the two pulled beautiful, age-worn colors from the architecture and grounds of their venue Villa Regina Teodolinda. Warm coral, soft peach, golden honey and smokey blues flooded the florals and the tablescapes. Honestly, looking at these pictures, it’s as if this magical venue was built specifically for them.
The couple’s photographer, Elisabetta, shared a bit of what this special day meant to this sweet couple: There isn’t a day that goes by where they don’t laugh, love or learn from one another. Michael is truly Marisa’s best friend, her perfect complement, and she can’t imagine a life where he isn’t by her side. He will forever have her heart. Michael wouldn’t change a thing about their love story. It had its starts and stops; it was choppy and imperfect, but in the end, she landed in his arms.
