Calling photographers and Lightroom aficionados! Kindred Presets and Mary Costa Photography have partnered up and are releasing a vibrant, true-to-color Lightroom desktop preset collection – available today (6/21)! Mary’s work is inspired by the sunshine and color of the west coast, and her style perfectly aligns with Kindred’s dedication to beautiful skin tones and joyful artistry. They worked together over the last two years and built a brand new multi-faceted product, which includes a custom profile, multiple color presets, helpful tools, and even a black and white option!
Kindred Presets and Mary Costa Photography’s profile and preset tools (or “prosets”) can be used on any and all digital cameras, no matter what system you use. Film photographers can apply the preset alone to their scans for a gorgeous pop of color!
Since Mary is based in LA all of the names pay homage to the movies. We can’t wait for you guys to see what this creative team has come up with! Let’s take a look at how the Mary Costa presets were used for this colorful editorial in Palm Springs…
Look One – A Chartreuse Embroidered Gown
A Marchesa chartreuse embroidered gown, custom checkered runway designed by Wild Heart Events and built by Barker Decor, flanked by gorgeous florals by Native Poppy. This runway would also be amazing for a wedding ceremony!
The Sands Hotel and Spa was the backdrop for the Kindred Presets x Mary Costa Collection launch shoot, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting.
Pink walls, flowers, stunning gowns, the prettiest pool, a solo cocktail party, and a classic car adventure at sunset – it just doesn’t get more fun than this!
Page Beauty absolutely nailed this pink floral shadow moment! Such a moment!
Look Two – The Cocktail Party
Gabrielle Hurwitz styled each of these looks, and the pink fringe Naeem Khan dress is perfect for a solo cocktail party! Side note, the pink dress is no longer available, but we did find this gorgeous white version that would be perfect for an after-party look!
Model Gracie Knight is so pretty in pink! The stunning emerald green backdrop was hand-painted by Erin Elyse Long.
Look Three – A Modern Twist on a Classic Look
This long pink Naeem Khan gown beautifully stood out in the unique tiled black and white lobby at the Sands.
The details on this dress are too gorgeous for words! We love how the pink truly pops against the dark grey and white backdrop!
Hello? Anyone home?! Page Beauty did a gorgeous white eyeliner for a modern twist on a classic look. Add in a banana phone for a dose of quirky fun!
Look Four – Pool Time!
The fourth look consists of this fun Cult Gaia flower cut-out bathing suit for an ultimate afternoon of leisure.
A poolside afternoon never hurt anyone! Can this look any more relaxing?!
And who else just NEEDS those daisy sunglasses now for summer!
This suit’s daisy cut out puts such a fun twist on the normal one piece swimmie!
Look Five – Car Filled With Flowers
If you know Mary Costa, you know she just can’t resist a classic car covered in flowers! And we are right there with her!! This short feathery Naeem Khan dress would be perfect for an elopement look!
The sunset of our dreams! Talk about a golden hour!
Pair any wedding look with some statement bridal sunglasses…and we’re bound to fall in love!
This backdrop = OMG!
