“A lady’s imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony in a moment.” – Jane Austen.
English countryside, lace, hand-painted bone china and romance — all elements associated with Jane Austen novels and with weddings. Inspired by all things ladylike, today’s pretty styled shoot takes Jane Austen to the present day bride. Choosing to forgo stuffy costumes and groomed lawns in favor of clean, outdoor elegance, this is a wedding Mr. Knightley, Emma Woodhouse and Kate Middleton would be delighted to attend.

just love EVERYTHING about this shoot- but that lavender cake- so classic and beautiful. Great work to everyone involved!

Love the table flower runner! Does a florist sell something like that?
The vintage lace sleeves are so great. The invitationes also impress me a lot.
I haven’t read a Jane Austen book before, this makes me want to read one even more! Now I have to decide which I shall choose first..
“Persuasion” and “Northanger Abbey” are great ones to start with.
Wow! I love this wedding! The bride even looks like an Austen character :)
I love the wedding gown. And also the flowers on the cups! The arrangement is interesting!
can anyone identify the pretty green conical/spiky stems in the bouquet?
That bouquet is so original. This shoot is amazing with its beautiful details.

This kind of countryside small wedding is always my favorite. I think it is romantic, fresh and warm. These pictures actually give me an impression of Jane Austen.
