Have you ever seen wedding inspiration featuring a yak? We’ve seen a lot, but that’s definitely a first for us! In the city of Hyrum, Utah sits the Old White Church — which alone, is gorgeous — but add in a blanket of fresh snow, and it becomes downright enchanting. We’re talking fairytale level magic here, folks! Photographer Calli Richards teamed up with florist, Dahlia Event Planning, plus these two lovebirds to capture all the mystifying wonder of this winter landscape…
Let’s take a peek, shall we?
What better way to contrast the wintry whites than by a bold bouquet with deep red tones? Dahlia Event Planning absolutely nailed it with the addition of antique tea roses, anemones and the pink protea!
Oh, and you KNOW that we’re all about that lace BHLDN cape!
And introducing the yak…
How cute is this guy?!
Though it may have been cold, Shanelle + Trace made this extra streamy… So gorgeous, you two!!

Every ice queen needs a glam squad, right? In this case it was Kayla Vellinga on hair + makeup!
Is anyone else considering wearing a veil simply for a shot like this? We don’t blame you!
And that, my friends, is how you rock a wedding cape to pure PERFECTION.
A huge thank you to Calli Richards for sending this over!
