When En Tao of Magnified Joy Photography collaborated with Abbey of Purple Summer Events, Abbey began to dream up ideas for a styled shoot, Johnny Cash’s notable description of paradise came to mind. Johnny simply said paradise was, This morning, with her, having coffee. And Abbey says, I thought of my own quiet weekend mornings, spent with my husband cuddled up under a blanket – him with a cup of coffee and me with a cup of spicy Aztec hot chocolate.
From that simple, yet comforting place an idea for an intimate elopement editorial began to take shape. And it’s the perfect dose of inspiration for anyone dreaming of a similar vow exchange filled with sweet eats, good coffee and – of course – lots of meaning + love.
The team worked with MJM Designs for floral design + we love the textural feel to the bouquet above!
Those pretty southwestern-inspired boho jewels are from the online shop Charming Charlie.
Acorn & Oakleaf Vintage Rentals provided all the rad furniture rental pieces, which paired beautifully from tabletop items from Anthropologie.
