Erin and Charlie wanted to make their wedding as stress-free as possible. They originally planned a large 100-person celebration in Malibu…but ultimately decided that wasn’t them and opted for a 10-person wedding in a place they always wanted to visit: Nashville. The key? Make it as low-key, casual, and intimate as possible, while wearing whatever made them feel their best, and Cause We Can Events helped make that happen.
Charlie, who you might recognize as our fave Aussie reporter for TMZ, tells us: Erin initially bought a dress, but then decided a month before the wedding that it didn’t “feel like her.” So, she got her fave outfit instead: platforms, bell bottoms + a hat…with a top to match. I was all in black with hat as well. I like Johnny Cash + we were in Nashville so why not! Basically, we both tried to keep it simple and let the hats be the center piece.

Can’t beat the fun we had while having dinner. We didn’t want formal speeches so everyone just took a few mins to stand up and say nice loving things. Also having our dog Mister there for the day made the whole thing way more enjoyable!
The Newlyweds
Meticulously planning a wedding sets up the potential for things to go wrong + ruin your day. So, we tried the opposite approach + just played the whole day by ear. We’ve been to weddings in the past where something doesn’t go right and the bride & groom stress about it…because ‘everything needs to be perfect.’ Perfect to us was just having our family there and going with the flow the whole time.
