If you’ve flipped through the March issue of Martha Stewart weddings, you just might recognize these cuties, Jessica + Kirk, and their gorgeous fall wedding at The Corson Building in Seattle. And for those of you who didn’t catch this wedding already, get ready to be completely won over by all its sweetness! When it comes to intimate settings, this one is truly tops. And we love how the beautiful environment J + K’s stylist, McKenzie Powell Floral & Event Design, created can easily translate to a holiday dinner party or other stylish, intimate event! Jessica backs us up here, as that was exactly her thinking, too. She shares, We wanted a day that was as much about the guests as it was us. By making the wedding more of an intimate dinner party, it allowed us to fully enjoy the day with our family and closest friends.
We love it! Thanks so much to Michele M. Waite for the beautiful photos and big congrats to Jessica + Kirk!
Major love for Jessica’s gorgeous bouquet! That berry-hued beauty is filled with pink roses, orchids, amaranthus, chocolate cosmos, blushing bride protea, snowberry and more! So stunning.
Love that little peek at J’s cute Seychelles flats!
I don’t think there was any one memorable moment of the day. It ended up being a gorgeous sunny day in Seattle, which had not been the case the day before. All the details fell into place and ended up being everything we imagined it to be.
The reception had all the components necessary for a stylish family-style dinner. Backyard brides hosting their weddings at home or those of you going for a restaurant reception, take note! We love how this cozy, intimate setting came together in such a beautiful way.
Don’t feel like you have to plan your wedding around a traditional mold. We did not have many elements of a traditional wedding and that’s what I loved most about our wedding. We created a day that was right for us and our style and owe couldn’t have been happier.
