As soon as we laid eyes on Jenna + Matt’s Ace Hotel (in Palm Springs, California) wedding, we were hooked on all the gorgeous, unique details. Of course, a stand-out element was J’s completely amaze Vera Wang dress (just check it out!), but aside from that it was hard to play favorites. The newlyweds tell us, We’re both pretty eclectic, love to throw parties and are pretty fond of booze and food. We really wanted to make sure that the whole thing felt like a big party with lots of goofy details that would make people laugh, like life size cardboard cut outs of our pets for the photo booth, “building a cheeseburger” (photos of that toward the end!) for our union ceremony, and having Matt walk down the aisle to Metallica.

The bridesmaids wore dresses they picked out themselves from retailers like ASOS, Rent the Runway, and J.Crew.
We love it when couple’s do things their way on the big day! Take J + M for example, who exchanged their vows once the sun had set and decided to ‘build a cheeseburger” for their union ceremony!
Our Advice
Stay away from Pinterest!! My advice would be to not even "just peek" at it, if you're a creative person at all, let that shine through, and don't just copy what everyone else is doing. You'll drive yourself (and probably your bridal party) crazy, because nothing will be "cute enough”.
