As the cooler nights ascend, now is that perfect time between summer and fall to host a fun little shindig…in the form of a backyard movie night! Did you know you can rent all you need to enjoy a movie right in your own yard? Beijos Events took the idea and ran with it, decking out the space with cozy seating nooks, serving drinks from a mobile bar, and setting out personal charcuterie boards.
It’s the ultimate girls night out (or IN) and we are ALL about it. The hardest part? Deciding what to watch! We’ll leave that decision up to you, but for now, here are 5 steps to planning the dreamiest backyard movie night with the gals, with photos by Caitlin Alohilani Photography!
1. Make a list + invite your gals to a backyard movie night.
What’s a party without an invitation? Love this cheeky invites by David & Leanna!
2. Stock the bar with bubbles + vintage glasses.
Let’s be honest, it’s not a party without a mobile bar, and Bubbles and Brews brought it!
3. Plan out décor and seating.
And don’t forget the flowers! The fun flower details throughout by Third & Park were the perfect touch.
Rent furniture, pillows, and decor to fill the space! This backyard was packed with goodies and borrowed pieces from Cherished Rentals and Sweet Salvage Rentals.
4. Feed your people with grown-up movie snacks!
Guys…personal. charcuterie. boards. THIS is the future and Graes Provisions nailed it.
The perfect cozy summer dress and THIS situation? Yeah, it doesn’t get any better!
Just another look at those dreamy personal charcuterie boards…yes, we’re obsessed. Also, super into those macramé coasters and keychains by The Neutral Knot!
5. Decide on the movie, sit back, and enjoy!
You can rent all the equipment you need to enjoy a backyard move — and feel free to add a little flare! Perhaps a little peachy-pink lemonade flavor like The Pop Shop‘s install?
We love it! Let the opening credits roll!

Wow, what a beautiful set up! Would definitely join with my girls :) Bubbles and Brews should come to Europe, too!
It’s amazing a very beautiful creation for girls, I will follow the same to do with my lover.
Thank you so much!
