Galentine’s is for the Girls: How to Host a Rose Gold + Blush-Hued Party!

Galentine's Day Party

It’s that time of year again, ladies! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with your best gal pals? Whether you want to host a bangin’ brunch with a bunch of bubbly, or a sweet soirée (with cozy clothes as the attire)—today’s GORGEOUS Galentine’s Day inspiration is here to get all your creative ideas swirling. Coming to us from the Beijos Events, the team created a stunning palette of all sorts of shades of pink, including a personal fave: rose gold!

And though this might look like a ton of work—don’t you fret! There are only a few necessities you need to make the party of your dreams come to fruition. Let’s head to the celebration Roxanne McClure captured at Sweet Salvage Rentals and see what goes in to throwing a fabulous fête!

First up: invites! Stand Tall Mia created these darling ones and we think it elevates the whole event, makes your guests feel important…and who doesn’t love receiving something pretty in the mail?

Make sending invites a breeze with some of our picks:

The Tablescape + Florals

Florals + balloons go a LONG way! Whether you want to get super crafty and make a floral balloon arch, or just add a few posies here and there—they really add a luxe touch. We love the way Third & Park used mainly coral and peachy pink florals, but rounded out the centerpieces with texture and some pops of greenery.

Tip: Once you pick a color scheme (rose gold and blush are a winning combination in our book!), find other accessories, accents, and florals in that range. The tonal hues melt in to one another, while creating tons of dimension and a sophisticated aesthetic.

Escort cards are always appreciated. Go the extra step and make your guests feel like VIPs!

Tip: For Galentine’s Day, and as a way to celebrate the ladies in your life who mean the most to you—why not add a reason you love them on their escort card? Whether it’s a compliment, a cherished memory, or somewhere in between…share the love!

Cute plates and metallic flatware are KEY for a gorgeous tablescape. Cherished Rentals provided these darling set-ups—so, if you don’t have enough flatware on hand, you can consider renting for a more bespoke look.

Tip: A long piece of chiffon layers so elegantly and adds a soft touch to the tablescape—Amazon or Etsy have these in spades, or your local fabric shop. (Cheesecloth works too for a more textured look!)

Bubbly + more bubbly, of course!

Tip: For fun, you can encourage your friends to bring their favorite bubbly or rosé—that way the libations keep flowing + you get to sample a variety of drinks. Maybe you’ll even find a new fave!

Food, food, and more food! We’re all about grazing tables lately, and we have a feeling your friends will be, too!

While this might look like a lot to plan out, it’s really not too difficult to create when you break it down! You have your sweets (fruit, both dried and fresh), salty (nuts, pickles, olives, and prosciutto), fats (cheese and tasty dips), and crunch (crackers and toasted bread). As long as you pick up several things from each of those categories—you’ll be set!

Tip: Don’t worry about having everything orderly and looking neat for the platter—feel free to sprinkle in nuts or pieces of fruit wherever to add more dimension. Platters like this one aren’t meant to be orderly, in fact, the more color and texture, the better!

Not sure where to begin? Start by adding in the bigger blocks: a section of meat, a collection of crackers, a bowl for olives and dip. It becomes easier as you go and you might begin to see areas that need some color—bring on the fruit!

We still can’t get over how adorable those ‘XO’ balloons are from North Star Balloons!

Tip: You can enhance the overall aesthetic with coordinating tonal pieces—rugs, macramé, cute vases that fit the color palette. We’re crushing on this rug from Sweet Salvage Rentals!
