We know how much effort goes into wedding planning, and when almost everything is checked off and figured out, you don’t always have the energy to research for the fun part — the honeymoon! So we’re stepping in with a series designed to give you a little destination inspiration… whether you’re wanting to completely relax, you’re a total foodie, or are seeking adventure, we’re going to be sharing some downright breathtaking locations over the next few weeks that will make for the ultimate honeymoon holiday!
Today’s agenda is reserved for those that simply want to unwind. Whether you and your love want to sink your toes into the sand and relax on the beach, or would prefer to take your time sipping on Moroccan tea in a magical riad, we’re pretty darn sure all these places could offer the trip of a lifetime!

Riad Yasmine, Morocco
We’ve seen this place all over Instagram — countless travel + fashion bloggers have documented the (dreamy) visual proof, and we are so looking forward to the day we get to visit! I mean, dusty pink walls in the desert scape and the pool oasis? Count us IN.
Hawaii
Hawaii is very near and dear to us, as GWS Founder + Creative Director, Jen and her leading man, Jason, got engaged there! We could spend days + countless posts on all there is to do, and the best beaches to take a nap on… but to be perfectly honest, all of Hawaii’s islands are magnificent.

Bali, Indonesia
We’ve heard nothing but good things about Bali! From gorgeous villas that let the light shine in, to turquoise waters and lush greenery, we could definitely get our chill on here. Not to mention the countless places to get a massage! Can you imagine hanging out in any of the rooms at this pad with the love of your life?! (And we are working on a Travel Diary from Bali that we will be sharing in the coming weeks as well!)
Dunton Hot Springs, Colorado
Take a step back in time and unwind in a remote part of Southwestern Colorado… in an authentic ghost town! The shacks at Dunton Hot Springs (also featured in our Top 26 Coolest Places to Get Married) have all been renovated to create a truly unique hotel where you can “rough it” in log cabins, then receive a spa treatment, take a dip in the thermal baths, and enjoy a fine, organic dinner.
Greece
You know how we said all of the islands in Hawaii are magnificent? The same goes for Greece! While there are more popular locations (Santorini — known for its iconic postcard shots of the white buildings with blue roofs, Mykonos — known more as a party location, Rhodes, etc.), so many of the islands have incredible views, delicious bites, pristine beaches, and a welcoming atmosphere… that said, the above photo is from Mykonos, and let me tell you, it was quite the treat!

Positano, Italy
In Southern Italy, just past Sorrento, is one of the dreamiest places we’ve ever come across… the Amalfi Coast. With turquoise waters, colorful houses stacked on the hillside, and charming vistas brimming with bougainvillea and tons of greenery, Positano is never far from our thoughts. The rest of the Amalfi Coast has some great seaside cafés and eateries. To get your body moving and see some incredible views of the ocean, check out the hike Il Sentiero degli Dei, or The Path of the Gods.

South of France
Lavender fields, meadows filled with sunflowers, vineyards for days, and landscapes that look like paintings. We dare you to unplug and immerse yourself in a land full of culture and hearty meals. We’re pretty sure that dewy morning walks and nightly sunset strolls will have you wanting to stay permanently… not to mention this darling 18th-century renovated farmhouse!
