Grace and Dave knew two things when they started planning their wedding: They knew they wanted a bohemian vibe and they knew they wanted tons of personal details that hinted at their many inside jokes. They took their small vision and with the help of event designers, Two Little Birds Planning, they created a whimsical, boho wedding that was filled with the coolest touches like dreamcatcher escort cards, an otter cake topper, dental floss favors, tons of macramé decor and a tarot card reader at the reception.
Grace shared more about the fun details they brought into their day and how they made it their own:
We have so much fun together with inside jokes, so it was easy for us to personalize our wedding day by incorporating them throughout. Some examples of this were our vows, the otter cake topper, the globe guest book, and the “Love like Kanye loves Kanye” sign. They were fun elements that reminded us throughout the day just how personal the event was to us.

The First Look
First looks may just be our favorite moment of the wedding day! So sweet!!
Not everyone has a concrete vision of what they want when they get engaged and that’s okay! Your style might change as your wedding draws closer. Allow yourself to continue to be inspired throughout planning as pieces come together. Also, trust and communicate with your vendors. They’re experts in their fields and are the key to pulling it all off.
G + D told us that they wanted a unique wedding venue with lots of natural elements. They definitely found it in The Horticulture Center! All of the plants make for a charming boho wedding Heaven!
Wedding Party Goals
Evolve Studio had these ladies looking lovely! Their romantic dusty rose dresses came from Brideside. We’re also loving their floral rings which are a super fun alternative to the traditional bouquet!
The Black Tux supplied the sleek Groom’s attire and we’ve got to say… these gentlemen certainly look ready to storm the party!
Macra-mazing!
Belovely outdid themselves with the florals for the ceremony and reception. We’re loving all the texture they brought in through pampas grass, dahlias, protea, and garden roses! Doesn’t Grace look stunning?! She shared with us about her search for the perfect dress!
After researching wedding dresses, I fell in love with the designer Rue de Seine and knew this was going to be the designer of my wedding dress. I saw that Lovely Bride in Philadelphia carried the brand, so I made an appointment with my friends to try on the styles I had seen online. The first dress I tried on that day ended up being my dress in the end! (This stunning gown is Rue De Seine’s ‘Poppy Stardust’)
Fueling our bridal jacket obsession even further, G rocked a muted rose moto jacket complete with a Moonstruck Decal from Bash Creative Design. We’ll just be over here “oohing and ahhing” for a while…

Never met a cake we didn’t like, but we are IN LOVE with this macramé confection from Bredenbeck’s Bakery and the adorable otter cake topper by Sugar Plum Cottage.
There are so many, but one that really comes to mind happened after our first dance. We planned ahead with our DJ to play “Feel So Close” by Calvin Harris immediately after to encourage guests to come up and dance with us. Everyone joined the dance floor, and the reception started off with a bang. It was an unreal moment where we looked around and realized we were actually married and were surrounded by people we love celebrating us.
