Chelsea + Stevie’s handmade vintage Northwest wedding had a youthful + charming vibe that we seriously love. With playful DIY garlands, a soothing mint + champagne palette, and bouquets handcrafted by the bride + her pals, it really doesn’t get any better. And their day is a true testament that a handmade celebration can be so much more fun + meaningful than a spendy, stuffy fête. Let’s hear a bit more about it from Chelsea:
For us, it was important that this day reflected our relationship + personalities. There was no main theme, but with every tiny decision, we made sure that there was a story behind it all. For example, we made hundreds of paper cranes to hang around the wedding, because throughout our relationship Stevie would give me notes folded into cranes. Small details like that made this day all the more special, to be able to look around and see parts of what brought + mended us together.
A big shout out to Joe & Patience for the super fun photos + congratulations to Chelsea + Stevie on a beautiful day!
I remember so vividly walking across the grass and up the stairs to see him for the first look. It brought me back to four years earlier when we first met, all those feelings + emotions that I had felt over those years all came out in that 30 seconds walking towards him. It was the best feeling ever, full of thankfulness, joy and pure blissful contentment.
We love that Chelsea chose to rock an affordable Modcloth dress. Her particular style is out of stock, but try the Glitz and Enamor Dress for a super similar look!

Do not be discouraged if money is slim- it’s still possible to create a beautiful wedding that absolutely reflects the both of you. Our budget for our wedding was pretty much nothing, and we only had four months to plan. But with a little creativity, resourcefulness & help from many wonderful friends - I can truly say that our wedding was everything I could have imagined, and I wouldn’t change any of it.

Was wondering if I could get more information on what the groomsmen wore in this wedding? we are doing a similiar look & are wondering where the shirts & suspenders were from. Thanks!
Hi Nicole! I can definitely ask the groom and get back to you as soon as possible. Have a good weekend!
I’ve been looking for that backdrop every where! Its sold out on the original website. Would the bride be interested in selling it?
