Michelle + Kyle have been together since college and they wanted to share their wedding with their closest family + friends who have watched them grow together as a couple. This led them to host an intimate, 60-guest celebration so they could really spend quality time with everyone in attendance. They fell in love with their venue, The Inn at Fernbrook Farms, the moment they saw it, and they knew it would be the perfect setting for a day that showcased their passions + truly reflected their story as a couple. And while they put a lot of heart into crafting some beautiful DIY details (which you’ll see throughout the post!), I love what Michelle had to say about their celebration: The entire day was fueled by love and laughter + we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
Big thanks to Pat Furey for the super gorgeous photography + congrats and best wishes to the newlyweds!
The sheet music petal cones were inspired by Kyle’s love of music.
Kyle: Hearing her song start to play and looking up as Michelle started walking down the aisle. It all sunk in that this was happening and I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion. The buildup from the day and anxiety of waiting to see her just disappeared at that moment. It was a surreal feeling that stayed with me through the entire ceremony.
Michelle: The photo shoot after Kyle and I exchanged our vows was indescribable. I was already bursting with so many emotions from the ceremony when Pat & Claire whisked us off on a golf cart to take photos all over the farm. It was our first chance to laugh and play as husband and wife, which is what I truly love most about our relationship.
Love this shot! :)
The reception tables featured wildflower-inspired blooms styled by Twisted Willow + vintage books from Michelle’s ever-expanding collection. It all came together beautifully and looked so, so lovely!
Processional: Bridal Party: Here, There + Everywhere – The Beatles; Bride: The Dress Looks Nice On You – Sufjan Stevens
Recessional: Linus + Lucy – Vince Guaraldi Trio
First Dance: Friends + Lovers – Incubus
All of the little details make for beautiful photos, but at the end of the day it really is just about the two of you. Remember that your love should be the focus of the day. If you keep that in mind, everything else just fades away.

This farm wedding is so unique! I just think that it would be better if they have flower girl and ring bearer that wear something of great style but very affordable like the collection in here – wallao.com

Wow what a wedding! Amazing photographs, well done Pat, love the one of their outline out of focus but the cow in focus in the background, very cool and different. Looks like such an awesome day. Congrats Michelle + Kyle
Any wedding with piggies is okay by me. And that pic with the groomsmen on the felled trees: genius.
