Sadie + Mike share a passion for adventure and travel as often as they can, so it only seemed natural that their gorgeous California barn wedding incorporated lots of fun vintage, travel-themed details! The wedding took place at The Dana Powers House in Nipomo, California, which is a beautiful, sprawling property with lovely gardens and architectural details everywhere you look. For their reception, they filled the barn with vintage china, burlap + lace table linens, and succulents planted in rusted goblets. I love that the bridesmaid’s dresses are so different, but cohesive with their varied shades of blue, and that Sadie + Mike cut their tiered cinnamon roll wedding cake with the groom’s Grandpa Fred’s navy sword!! How fun – and what a unique cake! Oh, and if any of you are fans of Mad Men like us, you may recognize Sadie, who plays Scarlett on the show! :)
Big thanks to the super talented Clayton Austin for the amazing photography and congrats to Sadie + Mike!
Are you dying over this stunning dress like I am? Sadie personally designed it herself + her vision was brought to life by Karo at Karoza Bridal. Majorly love it!
Processional: Bridal Party: We are Young – Fun (acoustic); Bride: You're So Cool – Hans Zimmer
Recessional: Express Yourself – Charles Wright + the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band
First Dance: Hazy – Rosi Golan featuring William Fitzsimmons
Such pretty portraits of Sadie + Mike!
I remember putting my head on Mike's shoulder and closing my eyes for a lot of the first dance and got completely lost in my happiness and closeness to him....it felt like we were the only ones in the room.
And their lovely wedding film by Redmond Digital Media!
Congrats, again, to the happy couple + best wishes from GWS!

Very very cute wedding!! and is that a Cinnamon Bun cake?!?!?! :) Love the dress and amazing pictures!!
i love everything about this wedding, that AMAZING wedding gown, the flower girl dresses (i want one!), the color of the bridesmaid dresses…the list goes one. love the photography, too!
I am always in awe of the families that come together at the weddings. This one was especially memorable as the parents of those adorable young flowergirls (Mikes nieces) are both serving our country in Afghanistan! There was not a dry eye in the house when a video was shown with a message to Sadie and Mike and the little girls. So moving and such a great memory of their wedding day.
Sadie’s dress couldn’t be more lovely, what amazing wedding photos. Congrats to the couple
The decorations are beautiful
The wedding dress is stunning! Love the decoration!
The vows. They had me at their vows …
The color palette is very chic, I love it. Lots of beautiful pictures. But the one of the bride and the little girls just wowed me, there is something in her expression and the composition…just perfect!
I cried like a baby watching that video!
please please can you tell me the alias of your dress???
