Let’s take a trip under the big top for a wedding that’s truly unforgettable! We’ve never seen an event quite like this one, and we’re sure even The Greatest Showman is feeling inspired! (If not a bit jealous!) Katinka and Massimo really pulled out all the stops to give their guests a magical experience full of wonder. These two are so in love and since their lives are full of crazy adventure, they wanted their wedding to match! With their fun circus-inspired attire, vibrant red reception tent, and gilded vows, they put on a show that’s truly stunning.
Katinka describes it best when she talks about their inspiration: Our philosophy is to create a really personal wedding….and so when we decided to get married, this was our most important aim. It had to be special and very personal. We are a crazy couple, soooooo much in love and always ready for a new adventure. Some years ago we found an ancient circus and we decided to get it. … and Massimo’s words were: If we get it up some day, we will marry there!!! And that was the beginning of this adventure…. The decoration of our wedding in the circus tent was inspired by the ancient decadence of luxurious Paris. We brought in lots of gold, eclectic objects, and the strange opulence of ancient time with a touch of personal craziness!

Katinka and Massimo inherited a large estate in Spain. What better place is there to throw your own circus?? Their estate is a working wedding venue called L’Avellana Mas Den Cabré. These two make dreams come true every day for other couples so it’s fitting that they finally had their time to shine!

Total Knockout! Katinka sported a fun and flirty white outfit paired with rad red velvet bow details at the sleeves and these adorable Chie Mihara shoes. So perfect for a circus wedding don’t you think?
What an entrance! You can tell these two are a FUN couple!!
Most of our guests did not know about the circus….they thought we were getting married in our finca… so after a moment, a great team of girls, The Balkan Paradise Orchestra, that do the most incredible percussion appeared and brought us all together to the circus. It was epic with everyone dancing, all super happy, all so excited! We then crossed a big wooden door in middle of the forest with huge letters spelling out: “Welcome to the Show"…..then the circus appeared! We named the circus, CIRCUS INFINITY, to celebrate our infinite LOVE!!!

In addition to lush botanicals and hanging greenery, 5 Floristería Mood Shop brought bright pink and red florals to the decor. The set up totally captures Katinka’s vision of old-fashioned Paris, when time stood still and everything was about luxury! Opulence at its best! We love how Katinka and Massimo didn’t stop at a traditional reception table, but instead, encouraged guests to flow through the space by setting up small vignettes and lounge areas. It really makes everything so intimate and relaxed!
