Oh, The Parker Palm Springs. We love it so. And you know what else we love? Elizabeth + Christopher’s stunning wedding! From the gorgeous florals, to the textured linens, to the completely custom design elements sprinkled throughout, their day was filled with so much beauty from beginning to end. And although the styling + design choices these two made felt playful + festive, there was also a strong sense of timelessness happening, too. Kind of the perfect mix for a Palm Springs affair, wouldn’t you say? Let’s hear a little bit more about it all from the bride:
The Parker provided such an amazing backdrop that we really only wanted to enhance it’s already beautiful features. We choose hot pink as our accent color to match the magnificent bougainvillea that grows in abundance there. The property is so lush that we also used natural greenery wherever possible. We wanted our wedding to look classic, so we stuck with mostly black and white yet, at the same time, we wanted the design to be slightly edgy so we incorporated bold patterns and textures. We used rose gold and yellow gold sparkle hearts as escort cards that our guests could then wear the rest of the night. We used the same hearts for the boutonnieres which also matched the bridesmaids dresses so it all fit together and everyone looked ready to party!
So much fun! And we’re so glad Kellie Kano was there to capture all of the super rad design elements crafted by Beau & Arrow Events and Elizabeth + Christopher!
Bridesmaid dress LOVE! So super cute, right? For more inspo for your fave ladies, check out our Bridesmaids board on Pinterest!
The perfect bout in our opinion! :)
From Kellie, We drew quite a crowd in the Parker lobby as these two swung back and forth in the hanging chairs, cracking up and high-fiving each other. Those images are just so.very.them.
Such a gorge bouquet by Root 75!
Our ceremony was particularly important to us. We wrote it with our friend Mark, who officiated, so it was incredibly personal and we got to say exactly what we were feeling to each other and to all of our guests. Our friend Alex sang while Christopher's dad, Pat, played the guitar as I walked down the aisle with my parents. Our mothers, Joan and Marsha, gave us blessings and our close friends Jordan, Tiana, Noah and Laura each came up with their own reading and their words could not have been more perfect. Our friend Lauren passed around our wedding bands so our guests could bless them while Christopher and I, with our brothers Collin and Kevin standing beside us, exchanged our hand-written vows. It felt like everyone there was involved in marrying us, which was exactly what we had hoped for.
Gosh, we love this fun escort display, featuring those sequin Ban.do hearts Elizabeth mentioned in the opener!
And the day wouldn’t have been complete without a fun, temporary tattoo bar stocked with all kinds of heart tattoos!
And of course you won’t want to miss their wedding film by Wade! from Shark Pig
Such an amazing day! Big congrats to Elizabeth + Christopher and best wishes from all of us at GWS!
