We love a wedding that can feel as lush as this one does + then find out it took place in the heart of the city! Who says your day can’t be garden-inspired, regardless of the location? Kristen + Taylor love nature, so exchanging their vows in a verdant east side conservatory, with a super fun reception (filled with pretty floral + foliage details) was just right for them. Let’s hear a bit more about the day, which was designed gorgeously by Tori of Sitting in a Tree Design, from the beautiful bride, Kristen:
We both love the outdoors and finding hidden places but also both love the city. We were able to incorporate both of those loves with our two locations. We also wanted the juxtaposition of a beautiful elegant wedding within a cool graffitied la warehouse. We enjoy the unexpected. Also, we had karaoke at the reception…we love karaoke!
Big thanks to Rad + In Love for the gorgeous images. As Kristen tells it, Our wedding was the greatest day/night of our lives filled with unbelievable moments. We tried to take them all in as fully as possible. Now we have the most beautiful pictures to remember them! We love hearing that! :)
Processional: Original music written by the groom + played live on guitar by Kellen Mills

Everyone moved to 440 Seaton, in Downtown LA’s arts district, for the reception + Poppy Hill helped bring the outdoors in with lovely green + white centerpieces and even a fresh flower wall!
