Madi + Bill’s wedding is filled with so much good stuff that we kind of want to just get straight to it! These love birds had their hands on some of the coolest aspects of the day’s design, all set up against the beautiful, modern backdrop of Prospect House, just outside Austin, TX. Madi filled us in on the main inspiration behind the day—which actually had less to do with design and more to do with a certain feeling:
Aside from being married at the end of the night, our number one goal for the big day was that we and our guests had FUN. For months leading up to July 15, we poured energy into creating an all-around experience for those that would help us celebrate. Some of our favorite details include: custom buttons we made for our guests to wear throughout the night, a balloon drop at the end of the ceremony set to the Beach Boys, “God Only Knows,” two backdrops (one for ceremony room & one for reception room) painted by Bill and me, CDs with music from the night for guests to listen to on their drives home, red hearts (that my mother sewed) for the groomsmen in place of boutonnières, eating pancakes & mimosas for dinner, custom napkins with sayings like “Heck yes!” and “Can you believe it?” and my bridesmaid’s bouquets.
Yep, there’s a LOT to love about this wedding and thanks to photographer, Erin McCall, we’ve got the photos to prove it! Wanna see?
Madi designed all the paper goods! Love the simple, modern concept with that pop of peachy-pink.
How sweet are these shoes by Ouigal?
Ah, so cute!!
These little pops of red make a big impact, right? They immediately add something exciting to the color palette!
So in love with this!
Madi + Bill painted two different backdrops—this one for the ceremony. And notice those balloons on the ceiling? Just a little teaser of the fun to come!
And…balloon drop!
Yep, we’re totally sold on the recessional balloon drop based on this photo alone.
See what we mean about those pops of red?!
Madi + Bill’s peachy-pink, black, white, and red color palette is so perfect and could honestly work well for any season: it’s romantic, fresh, and classic. The girls found their dresses at ASOS, Nordstrom and J.Crew!

And let’s just take a moment to appreciate these insanely creative + gorgeous hanging bouquets! We love the colors, the blooms, the greenery, the drape, that ribbon…yep, we love it ALL.
The ceremony space of at Prospect House features a large, hanging wagon wheel that M + B decked out with greenery + blooms!
Vintage Laundry provided the très chic tabletop rentals.
These two are brimming with creativity and LOVE! Cheers to you, Madi + Bill!
