Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a great week – and for those of you in the midwest and east coast – are keeping cool! :) Some of my favorites from this past week:
• Gorgeous magnolia bloom in this wedding by Jose Villa
• Watermelon and Strawberry Mojitios make a perfect summer wedding cocktail!
• Brides next year will be able to use this awesome Love stamp for their wedding invites designed by type genius Jessica Hisch (to be released next year – I’ll let you guys know once it’s out as I plan to stock up on this stamp!)
• How sweet are these globes by Imagine Nations (spotted on Hello, Friend)
And let’s talk dream wedding dress for a minute. Have you seen the Elie Saab Fall 2011 Couture Collection? Every single dress is breathtaking! By far my most favorite designer right now. I love everything he creates. These feel a bit Parisan to me. I love the beads, the colors, the tulle…stunning. Some of my favorites below (although I think I could have picked about 30 for this post!)
You can view the entire collection here – do you have a favorite? And, yes I know I’m dreaming, these would be way out of my price range, but a girl can dream right?! :) Who are some of your favorite dress designers?
Below is an amazing stop-motion video of a giant Post It note wall (they used 350,000 Post It notes on the facade of the Galeria Melissa, in São Paulo, Brazil). So cool! And got me thinking – maybe a post-it note wall for a wedding backdrop? :)
I love the giant magnolia!
I’m in love with the magnolia “bouquet”! I’m amazed that such an impact can be made with just one bloom!
Love the Post-It video!
Post-It wedding is such a good idea. I’ve been inspired by David Starks event for New Yorkers for Children Event. It’s on his website under corporate events. He showed Martha photos of that event on her show. Not a wedding but very cool.
;)
The dresses are so beautiful and romantic!!!

Love the Elie Saab designs! My favourite in the fall collection would probably be #31, but there are some good ones in the spring collection too!
loove the drinks in a jar idea. elegant, yet home-y at the same time!
These photos are stunning!
Awesome dress ideas. Really they are looking so gorgeous. Am loving this.
Loved the dresses too. I viewed the whole collection :-) and the post it note wall is a GENIUS idea :-)
These dresses are stunning! Absolutely breathtaking.
Goodness, the Elie Saab creations look like starlight came and settled on them! And hhhmmm….that’s a thought about the Post-It notes backdrop!
wow, those Elie Saab dresses are STUNNING! my favorite by far is the second one you posted – beautiful!
I love the mason jars! my friend just did the same thing with strawberry cheesecake. its such a cute look!
I am obsessed with Elie Saab and specifically this collection. I’ve been looking at his website for months dreaming about these gorgeous gowns. But I imagine all of them are extremely expensive when you consider his ready to wear dresses are in the $8K-$12K range. Sigh.
