Charming + Chic French-Inspired Wedding at a Downtown Toronto Café

Today’s wedding is proof that you don’t have to travel around the world to enjoy the romance of a charming location! Xiaoyi + Chris married in their home of Toronto, yet the day took on a chic Parisian feel thanks to the venue: a dreamy little downtown French café. Together with their 23 guests, Xiaoyi + Chris enjoyed an intimately beautiful celebration. Rainbow Chan Weddings & Events helped to design + plan the day, giving us a little peek into how they pulled off the classic style:

Xiaoyi + Chris chose to have an outdoor ceremony on an absolutely splendid autumn day, deciding on downtown Toronto’s exquisite French bistro, Colette Grand Café. Bright, spacious, beautiful, and an absolute wonder to behold, it was perfect for an exclusive and intimate wedding experience. We wanted an elegant color palette of lily white and carnation pink for the bride, muted shades of green and peach pink for the bouquets by White Oak Flower Co., and the classic sharpness of jet black for the groom. Complemented with hues of navy blue provided by Colette Grand Café’s interior, the mingling of these colors created a truly remarkable atmosphere for our ceremony and celebration.

The French-Inspired Venue

Isn’t this the most gorgeous venue? The bistro’s pavilion was transformed into an aisle, looking like a dream with all that dappled light!
