Calling all adventurous couples! The ones who would rather spend their time + money on traveling, exploring, and delving into all the many wonders of the world; those who seek to be one with the Earth and honor Mother Nature… Today’s editorial was inspired by a couple that’s traveled the world — Margaux of Harmony Creative Studio’s parents, to be exact. She shares: We decided to create a vision of a bohemian world-traveling couple, and what their wedding might look like in 2017.
The day is brimming with natural elements: clay pots, pampas grass, flowing fabrics. It truly is a boho dream + we’re pretty sure the photos by Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Duo will inspire you (and your next adventure). Let’s head out to Blue Moon Wedding Ranch in Temecula, California!
Talk about COOL! Sophia Loves Letters mixed prints typically seen on mud cloth, along with leather accents for one dreamy invitation suite.
Just a touch of peach and sage for the bride’s Florals by Patricia bouquet added in a nice romantic touch to the otherwise neutral florals.
For the bride: a pairing of organic and dramatic – pulled off with a clean Saja Wedding Dress from Bride Boutique LA topped with a Alexandra Grecco silk cape.
For the groom: a casual, un-wedding look created by H&M colored jeans and a linen shirt!
My favorite part of this shoot was the amazing escort card display, which featured treasured objects from around the world: a boomerang from the famous market in Eumundi, Austrailia; reproduction terracotta warriors from a visit to the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang in Xi’an China; Navajo sand paintings from Arizona. Each with a story to tell, all usually displayed in the couple’s home but now a way to incorporate their life together into their wedding.
For the reception, the team added in elements of wood, pottery + gold to the dark wood table — many of the pieces can be found at Crate + Barrell. The result was kind of luxury safari feel, which blended in nicely with the rustic ranch surroundings.

Blue Moon Wedding Ranch has several ceremony sites, but we love this amazing wood-clad barn on the North side of the property by the reception lawn. Such a clean and dramatic backdrop only needs a few pottery vases and neutral grasses as accents.
Wicked cool elements for the couple that wants a casual cool vibe, with a bit of elegance. Major props to the team behind this editorial!
