If you love flowers as much as we do, you’re definitely going to adore Sara + Gordon’s intimate wedding at the Floral Brazilian Room in Berkeley! Their sweet, laid-back personalities shined through in every facet of the celebration and wild, garden-like flowers decorated everywhere the eye could see. Simone Anne, who captured S + G’s day just beautifully, has some lovely words to share about the couple + their super sweet fête. Take it away Simone…
Sara + Gordon’s  ceremony was an extension of their beauty and happiness and the reception that followed was full of joy! They filled the entire wedding with such color and prettiness; flowers pouring out of mason jars that lined the tables, decorating guests from the moment they arrived (instead of a guest book, Sara and Gordon asked friends and family to adorn themselves with flowers), adorning the ceremony site, and of course, blowing us all away with Sara’s stunning bouquet and dreamy flower crown. I love Sara + Gordon and I love these photos and I think other couples to be who are looking for a happy, relaxed day full of beauty and joy will love them, too!
Sara’s bouquet by Studio Choo is one of the prettiest we’ve seen! Inspired by a photo of peaches on the tree that Sara and Gordon found and loved, the flowers had blackberries mixed in, as well as dahlias, roses, and so many other beautiful blooms!
And we love the simple beauty of Sara’s Percy Gown from J.Crew…
Processional: The Variations on a Theme by Joseph Haydn – Johannes Brahms (played by Sara's grandmother on piano)
Recessional: The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba – George Frederic Handel (played by Sara's aunt and cousin on piano)
First Dance: To Be Loved – Jackie Wilson
Sara: Dancing to Little Richard with friends and family from different eras of our lives.
Gordon: Wiffleball on the lawn during the reception
