So much joy, so much laughter, and so much elation!! This couple is ALL about “FUN, EASY GOING, SCREAM FROM THE MOUNTAINTOPS love”… And we here at GWS love that! Katie of Be Light Photography perfectly captured their celebration – all the smiles, the merriment and the glee. Family and friends filed in from across the country – Amelia’s hometown is Atlanta, Georgia; Trevor is from Spokane, Washington – and they met + married at Union Pine in Portland, Oregon.
Amelia + Trevor wanted their special day to burst at the seams with as much joy and love as possible, and they did just that. Kicking off the celebration with a bridesmaids’ slumber party the night before, they kept surprising their friends… First off, the guests took a bright red double-decker bus to a beautiful rose garden in full bloom (after all, Portland is known as the City of Roses). They paid homage to the age-old tradition of “something blue” with a giant blue wall for wedding party photos. Dinner was a sizzling dish of Spanish paella, followed by a piñata cake – we’re tellin’ you, this couple knows how to have a good time!

Oh my GOODNESS! The blooming rose garden + the florals by Fiore Florals!! P.S. Their amazing florist not only created all the bountiful bouquets, but she also planned + designed the wedding!
Amelia’s dress is handmade by Leslie Gilbertson and one of a kind… Would you look at that lace capelet!!
Our families hadn't officially met before the wedding festivities so being able to experience all of the introductions and interactions was a monumental moment that we will never forget! So many of our friends + family traveled from all over the country to make our day EXTRA special. And Trevor was super excited about the cake piñata - we blasted "Thunderstruck!" while taking turns smashing the confetti out of it!
