Trend Alert: Festival-Inspired Weddings That'll Make You Want to Party all Weekend!

Can you believe Coachella starts this weekend?! If you’re heading to the desert, we’re just a teensy bit jealous (wear a flower crown for us, will you?) but we found a way to join in on the fun with these 3 festival-inspired weddings! Imagine a weekend-long celebration with nights under the stars, music, great food, and all the folks you love the most. Sounds amazing, right? We’ve seen the festival trend pop up often when it comes to boho elements and bridal fashion, but these 3 weddings went full scale festival and we can’t get enough!

So, grab those kimonos, pop an umbrella in your La Croix, and let’s all travel to the desert together, shall we?

1. A Festival Wedding in the Wilderness

When you’re the founder of the penultimate hippie wedding dress design house, Daughters Of Simone, you go boho or you go home. Brit went for the former, of course! Guests met up in the “middle of nowhere” for an event filled with all the fun things you’d find at a music festival: fashion, bow + arrow targets, arts + crafts, bocci ball, corn hole, star gazing and, of course, music! This two-parter (part 1 and part 2) is one of the more epic weddings we’ve seen on GWS:

2. A Three-Day WeddingChella Fesitval

A weekend so magnificently epic, we had to share it in two parts! (Here’s Part 1 and Part 2!) This three-day bohemian festival-style wedding was dubbed “WeddingChella.” Guests slept in luxury tents, brought their dogs, feasted at long tables, danced under the stars every night (silent disco + laser tag, too), practiced yoga in the mornings, grabbed coffee + food from food trucks, adventured around Moab during the day (hikes + jeep rides) and watched distant storms and sunsets at night. Also? There was a WEDDING! And, yes, it was just as dreamy as ever:

3. Tent City: A Three-Day Camping Event

It’s GWS’ original festival-inspired wedding! This one skews a bit more Burning Man, complete with a city of tents set up on the couple’s California property. The 3-day celebration included outdoor sinks with antique mirrors, outdoor showers, vintage rentals and a custom triangular dining table to seat 200+ guests! Throw in killer cocktails, 2 bands, and a DJ, this one brings an entire new meaning to wedding party!
