Fashion-Forward Wedding Inspiration at Spain Ranch’s Black Barn

Hip, fashion-forward, edgy, unique—not normally words you’d use to describe a barn wedding inspiration. But Spain Ranch‘s (also featured in our Top 26 Coolest Places to Get Married) new venue outside Tulsa, Oklahoma is about to change everything you think you know about barns! The Black Barn is an intimate wedding venue (sitting on the same property as the equally as beautiful White Barn) and it’s the perfect setting for couples looking for a little something outside the norm.

To celebrate the Black Barn’s opening, the venue’s own interior designer, Bronwyn Spain, designed a shoot to showcase her vision for the types of weddings that might be hosted there. She tells us: It’s goth. It’s edgy. It’s a little weird. It’s like nothing the wedding industry has seen before.

A Black Floral Ceremony Arch

This mysteriously gorgeous ceremony arch by Crooked Roots Design is so unexpected and edgy! It pops against one of the barns only white areas, a ceremony space with French doors looking out to the ranch and letting in bright light.

Edgy Bride + Groom Style

His black speckled suit is from Threads on Boston. Such a cool look for a groom looking to put a twist on all black.

Laurel and Marie placed silvery florals and romantic escort cards on hand-painted boards, then hung them outside the barn.
