Morgan and Leon met in a small-town pub and their love blossomed from there! It was during a trip to Europe that Leon proposed. Their time together in Paris was some of the best memories of their life. Choosing Bistro Molines as their micro wedding venue was an easy one! The venue located in Mount View, New South Wales emulates European vistas with the rolling hillsides and french cuisine. Leon is of Italian descent and the couple says they feel right at home whenever they dine there. Choosing to keep the wedding small, meant less tradition and more intimacy.
Bride Morgan and Teresa from Muse Photography are a passionate florist/photographer duo and they worked closely together to design the fine details of the day. Morgan says:
“Working together with Teresa to creatively bounce off one other, has been a really special element to my wedding day!”
Now let’s check out this French-inspired wedding, shall we?
The Details

We are OBSESSED with Morgan’s studded booties! This exact pair is no longer available, but we found a very similar studded heel if you are looking for a similar look!

The rings were designed by Kate & Kole and include black diamonds and sapphires.

Obsessing over her bridal gloves! They tie in perfectly with her fashion-infused look.

Morgan’s gown was designed by Californian brand Odylyne the Ceremony. The mini Caspian dress was flirty and non-traditional, the perfect compliment to her fun and playful side! It was paired with Steve Madden see-through studded boots and a handmade cathedral length veil.
The veil had over one hundred hand-sewn flower motifs on twelve meters of tulle and took over a hundred hours to create! It was designed by Newcastle-based millenary, Cavallaro. The pop of red roses suited perfectly with the colors of the day, but was a beautiful ode to Morgan’s flower artistry.
Bride Morgan is the creative artist behind the very successful florist Pushing Pansies. For her wedding, she wanted to keep everything minimal but still very luxurious and fashion-driven. She used her favorite bloom in her waterfall ombre bouquet – the beautiful Phalaenopsis Orchids in shades of red, pink and white. Morgan says these flowers have always taken her breath away and eight years on, they’re still her favorite!
Saying ‘I Do’

Morgan shares with us the creative direction the two had in mind for their big day:
“The primary inspiration behind the wedding day was to keep the day simple and non-traditional wherever possible. A relaxed elopement with our nearest and dearest. Immersing ourselves with great french cuisine, wine and most of all company, at our favorite restaurant. The aesthetic for the wedding was to create an art and fashion infusion.”

Can this get any more picture-perfect?

It’s all smiles for the bride and groom! Now off to celebrate!

Leon chose a tailored suit jacket from Rundle Tailoring, paired with a white linen shirt. We love how his jacket tie into the floral details on her veil!
A Dreamy Celebration

Guests dined on award-winning french cuisine during a long lunch in the rolling hills of the Hunter Valley wine country. With lush grounds, mouth-watering food and wine to pair, it was the best way to celebrate their love story!

If only every wedding could end with a dip in the pool! Congrats to the happy couple – we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
