Set in a community garden in a valley among the black lava fields and towering red rocks of Southern Utah this Farm Fresh styled wedding shoot is one of a kind. The beautiful couple and unique elements were amazing. The paper products were hand painted to go along with the organic and fresh theme of this shoot. All of the fresh vegetables and fruit were grown locally as were all of the ingredients in the mouth watering dishes. Every element of this wedding is meant to inspire brides to use the elements around them. Everything from choosing a venue, to decor, to a menu for the wedding day. I love the idea of supporting local growers and farmers and incorporating their goods into the wedding.

Perfection! So clever and beautiful.
This is a beautiful shoot, and as an organic vegetable farmer (who is getting married this fall) I deeply appreciate the incorporation of local produce. However, I’m afraid the commentary of this being perfect for a spring wedding is misleading. All of these fruits and vegetables are harvested in August, late July at the earliest if farmers are using greenhouses. In spring the ground is still warming up, and as many vegetables take months to mature, the only veggies available in spring are greens and early radishes! Like I said, it is a lovely photo shoot, I just think it would be unfortunate if you had your heart set on a springtime-harvest wedding, only to find that it was fairly impossible. A fresh green spring wedding would be beautiful, though. Thank you for the good work you do.
