Completely inspired by the rich color palette of fall, a talented group of Chicago wedding vendors, led by Ashley from Ashley Bosnick Photography and Carlene from Naturally Yours Events, conceptualized + designed a gorgeous styled autumn elopement. Set amid the soon-to-change trees of a woodsy, lakeside parcel, the team painted the landscape with some of fall’s most notable details. Think tartan, tweed, and moody burgundy hues. I’m really loving the fun handmade elements incorporated into this shoot, like the gold branch candelabra decorating the sweetheart table and the pretty antique lace ceremony backdrop. And the beautiful, vibrant florals by Field & Florist seen throughout are just so stunning. Lots of great ideas for those of you considering a fall wedding!

For the table, Field & Florist went with a cluster of vintage tulip vases filled with lush florals, ferns, plum peppers, + blush berries. They’re a perfect compliment to the tartan textiles.
And let’s talk about this awesome flower necklace for a sec! Comprised of dahlias + fern, it added such a pretty dose of texture to the bride’s ensemble. We love the idea of exchanging a flower necklace for your bouquet during the reception if you’d rather not lug something around all night! :)
A gourmet s’mores bar is such a fun idea – and the beautiful cake by Elysia Root Cakes stayed right on theme with an elegant gold wood-grain design on the bottom tier. So, so pretty!

I feel lucky to have been a part of this foray into the woods. I am bowled over by the dahlia bouquet and necklace. And the gold cake–sleek and with the wood grain/feathery texture. The whole scene is out of a fairytale.
