We really couldn’t think of a better way to end the week than with an absolutely stunning engagement session in the woods, sure to inspire all of you who are booking + planning your own engagement photos! Photographer Kristen Booth took Megan + Jordan out to a remote spot amongst the trees and captured some truly magical moments on camera. There are lots of pretty shots + a sweet story about M’s first dress coming up in a sec, but first let’s hear a little more about the day from Kristen…
The session started out in the woods….a bit chilly, but filled with glowy light. Part way through, some stormy weather rolled in….the temperature dropped like crazy and there was a ton of fog. Megan and Jordan must have thought I was crazy, as they shivered in the freezing temps and I couldn’t stop exclaiming how LUCKY we were to get these conditions. Cause I loooove me some fog. I kept cheering them on, to just push through, and it would be worth it. They were such troopers, and it was definitely worth it!!!
Megan wore her mother’s wedding dress for the first part of the shoot. Her mom had no idea and was moved to tears when Megan surprised her with the images! Kristen says, I think this is such a sweet gesture and would love to see some more brides doing this!
Adore these shots on the vintage book page heart…don’t you?!
So, so pretty. Kristen was right! The fog really makes these photos!
Congrats to Megan + Jordan! We wish you two a lifetime of love + happiness!
My heart just exploded! These are so gorgeous. I scroll through wedding sites everyday and these are by far the most gorgeous photos I’ve ever seen. They remind me of a James Christensen Painting especially next to the ruins.
Absolutely stunning !!! Photos look like a movie shoot! Can’t wait to see their wedding photos!
You’re just so majestic. I have seen many wedding scenery, but I sworn you are outmatched.
OMG! What a dress. Love the photography.
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Kristen Booth knocks it out of the park, yet again.
The wedding is divine ! Such glamor and style – and still a very relaxed and happy couple.
Love the book pages on the ground and the dress.
