There’s nothing we love more than following along on our rad GWS couples’ love journeys! From the engagement, to the wedding, it’s so much fun to feel a part of such important + amazing milestones. You may remember Jacqueline + Kyle’s romantic Sausalito engagement shoot we featured a while back, which was captured perfectly by the lovely Meg Perotti. As soon as we saw how thoughtful + dreamy that session was, we’ve been waiting in anticipation to see (and share!) their wedding day. We knew it’d be gorge!
Jacqueline + Kyle had been dating for 5 years when Kyle asked Jacquie to marry him while on vacation in the south of France. He arranged to have a surprise dessert for two served in a medieval castle spire, where he asked Jacqueline in French if she would be his wife… of course she said yes!!
The inspiration for their wedding, which was designed beautifully by Yelena Johnson of The Stylish Soiree, was sparkly-eclectic, with an understated, romantic palette of silver + white, accented by greys, nudes + blush tones. Jacqueline had a cameo in the movie Alice in Wonderland, which is also one of her all time favorite stories, and that played a big role in the styling of their gorgeous fairytale garden wedding, held at Franciscan Gardens San Juan Capistrano, California. Take a peek…
Majorly love Jacqueline’s customized Mori Lee gown, which she wore for the ceremony, her bold red lips and her pretty, white bouquet by Krista Jon Couture!
And her incredible pink reception dress is by Watters. Obsessed!
From Yelena, Their reception featured a live 90’s band, a miniature unicorn, a cotton candy machine, and a father/daughter dance with glittered top hats (her dad used to have tea parties with her when she was a little girl, and she always made him wear a sparkly top hat). As a counterpoint to the girly Wonderland lounge, Kyle, the groom, had his own Gentleman’s lounge to hang out in, complete with leather tufted sofas, a scotch tasting bar and spicy bar snacks.
Total fairytale, right?! Big thanks again to the team of creatives below for sharing their talents with us and congratulations to Jacqueline + Kyle on a super gorgeous day!

That blush dress totally stole the show – it’s so soft and poofy and pink and pretty, all wrapped up in ruffles. YES! <3

Where did that unicorn wax seal come from?! To die for!
This was so beautiful! So fun to work with such a great bride and planner!!
The ruffle detail on the brides gown is gorgeous!
Between that church and her dresses, I am in love with this wedding!
Love the church – wow!
